Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 49, s. 2019 entitled ” 15th National Dental Health Month Celebration”, all elementary, secondary and senior high schools in the City of Dasmariñas are invited to conduct public awareness on the primary role of the schools in the government’s effort to promote oral
health and its direct link to the general health and well-being of a learner towards improving learning outcomes and reducing absenteeism.
The following suggested activities for the month-long celebration are:
a. Tooth brushing drill every after recess;
b. Oral Health campaign through health talks, symposia, film showing, on the spot slogan and poster making contest; and
c. Provision of dental services through partnership with Local Government Units, stakeholders and partners.
All schools are expected to accomplish a narrative report of the conducted activities and submit it to the Health and Nutrition Unit via e-mail at hnu@depedasrna.edu.ph on or before March 20, 2019.
