The Dasmariñas City Public School Teachers’ Association in partnership with the Teachers’ Dignity Coalition will conduct a Division Forum on Teachers’ Rights and Welfare with the theme: The Filipino Teachers after Fifty (50) Years of Magna Carta” on September 2, 2016, from 7:00am to 3:00pm at DNHS library.
The objectives of the activity are as follows:
1. Present the status of the Filipino teachers after 50 years of the Magna Carta;
2. Provide avenue for the discussion of the rights and welfare provisions of the Magna Carta;
3. Equip the teacher-leaders with legal knowledge towards the effective performance of their duties and responsibilities; and
4. Consolidate the feedback of the participants in the open forum as input for policy review of concerned authorities.
Participants to this forum are five officers from each faculty club of both elementary and secondary schools. School heads are also cordially invited to this event.
A registration fee of Php100.00 shall be collected from each participant to defray the expenses for certificates, food and token for the resource speakers. The registration fee of the participants shall be chargeable against any available local faculty club fund and/or faculty development share from canteen fund.
