This Office disseminates DepEd Advisory re: High-Level Virtual Forum for the Celebration of the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW), dated 02 November 2021.
In line with the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) Celebration, the Department of Health will launch a kick-off activity titled “High-Level Virtual Forum” on November 18, 2021 (Thursday), 9:00-11:00 am to be streamed via Philippine Antimicrobial Awareness Week (PAAW) Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/doh.paaw).
This year’s theme is “Kaalaman ay dagdagan, antimicrobial resistance sa gitna ng COVID-19” which aims to strengthen the Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) campaign and to advocate for urgent action by leaders across all sectors to combat the accelerating crisis of AMR.
Enclosed is the DepEd Advisory that includes the provisional program of the media forum. The updated and the final program shall be posted in the Department of Health (DOH) and Philippine Antimicrobial Awareness Week (PAAW) Facebook Pages.
