Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 479 dated October 24, 1994 and DepEd Memorandum No. 177, s. 2017 declaring the month of November of every year as Filipino Values Month, this Office enjoins all public and private schools to hold essential and meaningful activities in partnership with other stakeholders to strengthen the Filipino culture, values and ideals which are Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa. Activities should be meaningful, simple and doable, and must not be limited to having contests or competitions but exhibits, talents, and innovation, acting out alternative
interventions exemplifying positive Filipino Values.
