Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 479, s. 1994 Declaring the month of November of every year as Filipino of Values Month with the theme “Mapanuring Paggamit ng Gadyet: Tungo sa Mapagkalingang Ugnayan sa Pamilya at Kapwa.”, this office enjoins all public and private schools to hold essential and meaningful activities in partnership with other stakeholders to affirm and show relevant Filipino values in practice as this nation advance technologically. Further, as stated in DepeD Memorandum No. 166, s. 2018, activities should be meaningful, simple and doable which are anchored on the theme. Activities must not be limited to having contests or competitions but exhibits, talents, and innovation, acting out alternative interventions exemplifying positive Filipino Values.
Report on the conduct of the activity shall be submitted to cesarchester.relleve@deped.gov.ph following the Template for the Report on the Conduct of National Observance of the Filipino Values Month. For easier tracking and consolidation of the reports, indicate the name of the school with underscore Filipino Values 2018 (e.g. Dasma Integrated High School_Filipino Values 2018), as subject and filename of the email.
