With reference to OUA Memo 00-1121-0231 of the Department of Education, Office of the Undersecretary for Administration titled Virtual Observance of the World AIDS Day 2021, the Department enjoins all teaching and non-teaching personnel, student leaders and high school learners to participate in the celebration with the theme, Ending the HIV Epidemic: Equitable Access, Everyone’s Voice.
The World AIDS Day is conducted every December to raise awareness and knowledge, show support for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and to make a call to end the HIV epidemic.
