This Division Office hereby instructs all public schools with SHS program to immediately disseminate a preventive reminder among the learners to use the distributed computer tablet as aid for their distance learning. The concerned learners shall be reminded on the primary purpose of the gadget temporarily entrusted under their care.
Recently, reports have been received by this Office on the system crash experienced by the gadgets because of excessive downloading of other software applications by the user. Damages incurred through outside intervention such as this is beyond the gadget’s warranty. For this, the user shall be charged with P800.00 as a repair cost per tablet (this cost may vary depending on the severity of the damage).
