In relation to the forthcoming May 09, 2022 National and Local Elections, the Department through Joint Memorandum No. 004, s. 2021 reiterated the provisions of DepEd Order No. 48, s. 2018 titled “Prohibition on Electioneering and Political Activity” to remind DepEd officials and employees of the constitutional prohibition against electioneering and conduct of partisan political activity as provided in Article IX-B, Section 2(b), paragraph 4 of the 1987 Constitution.
