The Province of Cavite and other parts of the Philippines arc traversing the “new normal” with the country sustaining relatively decreased COVID-19 cases for the past months. But the pandemic continues to evolve, including the emergence of subvariants, and potential surges might still occur.
For the information and guidance of all, the following health and safety measures are reiterated and must be strictly implemented:
PREVENTION AND CONTROL
- Strictly follow the minimum public health standards.
- Masks shall be worn properly at all times, whether in or out of the office/school, including public transportations.
- Always observe proper handwashing and respiratory etiquettes.
- Sanitize and disinfect regularly.
- Practice social distancing.
- Get vaccinated. It is highly encouraged that all vaccinated individuals should get their booster shots done.
CASE REPORTING AND CONTACT-TRACING
i. Mandatory reporting of cases for all CSDO and school personnel who tested positive for Covid-19:
Those personnel who tested positive should inform their respective clinic teachers and school heads / unit heads, who in turn, should report the case to the Health and Nutrition Unit.
Contact-Tracing must be done by the clinic teachers if the personnel has physically reported to the school within 2 days before testing positive for COVID-19 and/or before onset of symptoms.
