1. In line with the National Teacher’s Month in September, culminating into the celebration of the World Teacher’s Day in October, a letter from the Communication Division requesting for teacher’s stories was received by this office.
2. To pay tribute to teachers and to encourage positive interaction with the audience to celebrate educators, a campaign in print and social media will be launched on September 1.
3. In the same regard and for future communications, the team would like to regularly feature stories of teachers – how they got into the profession, what they actively advocate, what they love about teaching, what special experiences they have had, what sacrifices they have made, and what remarkable achievements or contributions they have brought to their student’s lives, to the community, to the country and to the profession.
4. This office request to help us source these stories from the field and hope to get the stories on or before August 31, 2016. A 3-minute video or slideshow presentations or written narratives are being encouraged. Please include photos (separate attachments, JPG format) with the feature stories.
5. For any question or concern, you may contact the Division Office at (046) 432 3629 loc 218.
6. Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum to all concerned is earnestly desired.
