Relative to the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the Department of Education and the Lions Club International for the Sight for Kids (SFK) Project under the Adopt-a-School Program, there will be an orientation of selected Division Office personnel (Health and Nutrition Unit) and public elementary school clinic teachers on September 10, 2019, 2:00 PM at the Division Conference Room. Please refer to Enclosure No. 1 for the list of the identified school beneficiaries.
The SFK Project caters to pupils with vision/ refractive errors and issues prescription glasses for free. The project will be implemented from SY 2019-2020 and SY 2020-2021 in public elementary schools selected by Lions Club.
School heads and Adopt-a-School Program coordinators are advised to prepare the necessary documents (Deed of Donation/ Acceptance) in anticipation of the delivery of the prescription glasses by the end of the school year.
