In reference to OUA Memorandum 00-0222-0127 titled Virtual Celebration of the 36th Anniversary of the People Power Revolution dated February 16, 2022, the field is hereby informed that the Bureau of Learner Support Services – Youth Formation Division will conduct the 36th Anniversary of the People Power Revolution on February 25, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. via a virtual platform.
Learners, teachers, and all those interested are encouraged to join the online activity. This activity aims to: (1) highlight the basic concepts of democracy and the role of elections in democracy and governance; (2) emphasize what student power means today; (3) engage students actively in critical discourse on various issues and concerns of our society that reflect our realities as a nation; and (4) empower young Filipino electorates by helping broaden their perspectives.
