The City Schools Division of Dasmariñas will be holding the THIRD EDUCATORS LEARNING ACADEMY OF THE CITY SCHOOLS DIVISION OF DASMARINAS on October 24- 28, 2016 at Congressional National High School Via Verde Village, San Agustin II, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
This five-day Third Educators Learning Academy aims to:
a. enhance capacity of aspiring principals and potential school leaders on the different performance domains such as School Leadership; Instructional Leadership; Creating Student-Centered Learning Climate; Human Resource Management and Professional Development; Parent Involvement and Community Partnership; School Management and Operations; and Personal and Professional Attributes and Interpersonal Effectiveness
b. develop leadership commitment;
c. value public service accompanied by legal basis in pursuance to existing policies.
Participants to this activity are the aspiring principals and potential leaders. It shall serve as a mechanism for enhancing competence of would be school heads (SHs) in the public basic education sector.
The leadership training shall cover situational critical thinking questions relevant to the role of a SH anchored on the domains of the National Competency-Based Standards for School Heads (NCBSSH) stipulated in DO 32, s. 2010 entitled National Adoption and Implementation of the National Competency-Based Standards for School Heads:
a. School Leadership;
b. Instructional Leadership;
c. Creating Student-Centered Learning Climate;
d. Human Resource Management and Professional Development;
e. Parent Involvement and Community Partnership;
f. School Management and Operations; and g. Personal and Professional Attributes and Interpersonal Effectiveness
There will be no registration fee to be collected. Food of the participants and training materials shall be charged against Division MOOE allocated for Training and Development.
All interested participants should register to Dr. Vanessa R. Barcarse at SGOD Office on September 12, 2016 for budget allocation. Also, registrants are advised to bring the waiver indicating that they are going to attend the entire five- day review. Failure to complete the attendance will mean that the participant will pay the amount allocated for them.
Attached to this memorandum is the waiver to be submitted during the registration.
