Youth Council Month Calendar of Activities for S.Y. 2023-2024 and the email
communication from Philippine Red Cross Dasmariñas City Branch dated October 5, 2023, this Office through the School Governance and Operations Division – Learner Formation Program (formerly the Youth Formation Program) announces the conduct of the 2024 Blood Olympics with the theme, “Hero Comes in All Types” on the following dates:
2. This event is designed to encourage individuals to become voluntary non-remunerated blood donors and spread awareness on the significance of their
contributions in saving lives. Thus, this activity is open to the public for prospective blood donors upon passing proper screening measures.
3. Attached to this Division Memorandum is the following:
a. Blood Olympics School Invitation Letter;
b. Parental Consent Form;
c. Blood Olympics Mechanics; and
d. Registration Form
4. Participation to this activity is purely voluntary and shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task
and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing
DepEd rules and guidelines.
5. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall
be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing
guidelines.
