1. In reference to Regional Memorandum No. 117 s. 2023, the field is hereby informed of the temporary changes on the deworming schedule of learners for SY 2023- 2024.
2. To align the schedule with the new school calendar, the schedule of deworming is adjusted as follows:

3. Furthermore, as stipulated in the abovementioned memorandum, the procurement of deworming drugs and other paraphernalia is now devolved to the Local Government Unit. However, due to the failure in the procurement process, no deworming drugs were allocated for our division for Deworming SY 2023-2024- Round I.
4. This January 2024, the Department of Health Region IV-A only allocated a total of 18,000 tablets which led our division to prioritize the deworming of elementary learners. The Office is still waiting for the deworming tablet allocation from our DOH counterparts in LGU to cater our secondary learners.
5. All schools are now directed to distribute the parent’s consent to the learners during their health classes. Schools are highly encouraged to flash or play the audio-visual presentation regarding the importance of deworming on conspicuous areas in schools.
