1. Relative to National Budget Memorandum No. 149, s. 2024 entitled “National
Budget Call for FY 2025” dated December 27, 2023 and Regional Memorandum No. 2024 – 102 dated February 12, 2024, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas will be holding Division Seminar-Workshop on the Preparation of Budget Proposal for Fiscal Year 2025 for Public Elementary, Secondary High School IU’s, & Non-IU’s and Stand Alone Senior High School on February 26 – 27, 2024 at The Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias, Cavite.
2. This seminar-workshop aims to:
a. Provide directions to school Implementing Units and Non-Implementing Units on the preparation of budget proposal based on thrusts and priorities;
b. Continue adoption of the budget reforms for greater budget transparency, openness, accountability and reliability such as: 2-tier budgeting approach (2TBA); program-based budgeting structure through Program Expenditure Classification approach (PREXC); and the Unified Account Code Structure (UACS); Disaggregation of lump-sum amounts within the agency specific budgets to reflect the P/A/P.
