1. Relative to the issuance of Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology
information bulletin dated June 9, 2023, regarding the activity of Taal volcano under Alert Level 1 and with the possible hazards that may occur such as steam-driven or phreatic or gas-driven explosions; volcanic earthquake; minor ashfall and lethal accumulations or expulsions of volcanic gas, the field is hereby informed to take necessary measures to ensure learning continuity.
2. In view of the aforementioned, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas,
through the SGOD- DRRM Unit, hereby advises the field to prepare the following as a guide for mobilizing the school DRRM team on the adoption of necessary actions and interventions:
a. Enhanced Taal Volcanic Eruption Contingency Plan;
b. Education Continuity Plan (ECP); and
c. Camp Coordination and Management Protocol.
3. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum to all concerned is earnestly
desired.
