1. The City Schools Division of Dasmarinas, through the School Governance Operations Division (SGOD) – Health and Nutrition Unit (HNU), enjoins all public elementary and secondary schools to participate in the observance of the Global Handwashing Day on October 15, 2026, in line with DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2016, otherwise known as the Policy and Guidelines for the Comprehensive Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools (WinS) Program.
2. With the continuing theme “Be a Handwashing Hero”, this year’s observance aims to promote proper handwashing with soap and water as a simple and effective way to prevent the spread of diseases and encourage good hygiene practices among learners and school personnel.
3. School WinS Designates and Class Advisers shall facilitate and document the activity. Schools are likewise encouraged to share photos or short videos through their official DepEd Tayo Facebook pages to further promote awareness, subject to applicable data privacy policies.
4. A brief accomplishment report highlighting the activities conducted, number of participants, and photo documentation shall be uploaded through the designated link not later than November 6, 2026.
