1. In compliance to Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) Board Regulation No. 5, s.
2007 or Institutionalizing the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Program, the School Governance and Operations Division – Learner Formation Program announces the Division BKD’s calendar of activities for School Year 2023-2024.
2. The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Program is an integral component of the
National Drug Education Program (NDEP) in schools which provides for a holistic approach to the problem of drug abuse.
3. Attached to this memorandum are the following:
a. Calendar of Activities for the Red Cross Youth Council for the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas for School Year 2023-2024;
b. Accomplishment Report Template;
c. BKD Individual Membership Form; and
d. BKD Chapter Registration Form
4. Participation to these activities shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on
Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
5. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
