1. Pursuant to DepEd Order 86, s. 2012 re: Guidelines on Revitalizing Girl Scouting in Schools Nationwide, and as part of the GSP Calendar of Activities
SY 2023-2024, there will be a Division GSP Orientation on November 13, 2023
(Monday), 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Dasmariñas II Central Library.
2. This activity aims to:
a. Update the participants on the different programs, projects and activities of the GSP.
b. Revisit the roles and responsibilities of the District Field Advisers and School
GSP Coordinators.
c. Craft the School GSP Action Plan and Calendar of Activities for SY 2023-2024.
3. Participants in this activity are the District Field Advisers (DFA) and School GSP Coordinators both in Elementary and Secondary, Public and Private Schools.
They may register on the day prior on the start of the orientation proper.
4. School heads are further instructed to implement necessary arrangements to
ensure that no classes shall be disrupted by the attendees’ participation in
consideration of DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On- Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and regulations.
5. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall
be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
6. Furthermore, the Program Management Team has fully understood and shall
comply with Division Order No. 1, s. 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic
Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas and
Division Memorandum No. 45, s. 2021 tilled Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Training and Activities.
