1. Pursuant to Division Memorandum no. 05, s. 2020 titled Discovering Heroes:
Strengthening Division Partnerships and Linkages, this Division calls for nominees for the 2023 Gawad Bayanihan to be held on December 11, 2023, 02:00pm-05:00pm at Bulwagan ng Kalinangan, Fiat Lux Academe, Brgy. San Jose, City of Dasmariñas.
2. The conduct of this annual awarding ceremony aims to:
– celebrate the outstanding implementation of Brigada Eskwela Program by schools from different categories;
– honor the heroism of individual and institutional partners who have been part of Brigada Eskwela and other partnerships initiatives;and
– recognize schools with exceptional discharge of partnerships program.
3. Participants to this event are the Public Schools District Supervisors, Parent
Supervisors, School Heads, Adopt-a-School Program Coordinators, Brigada Eskwela School Focal Persons, one (1) PTA from each school (president during the time of 2023 Brigada Eskwela), one (1) Barangay Captain from each school, and one (1) private partner from each school. Furthermore, no registration fee shall be collected from the participants.
4. Enclosed are the Guidelines for Awards and Recognitions, and Guidelines for
Submission of Digital Nomination, Indorsement and Certification for the nominees’ reference and use.
5. The submission of Digital Nomination for the following categories listed below is on or before December 07, 2022 via email to markjayson.espinosa@deped.gov.ph with the category name on the subject field:
– Best Partnership Engagement Activity
– Most Outstanding School in Partnerships (Elementary and Secondary)
– Most Outstanding Adopt-a-School Program Coordinator
– Most Outstanding Brigada Eskwela School Focal Person
