1. With reference to Republic Act No. 11650, an Act Instituting a Policy of Inclusion and Services for Learners with Disabilities in Support of Inclusive Education, and DepEd Order No. 44, s. 2021, titled Policy Guidelines on the Provision of Educational Programs and Services for Learners with Disabilities in the K to 12 Basic Education Program, this Office announces the conduct of Division Upskilling of Instructional Leaders on School Assessment Administration and Inclusive Literacy Interventions for Learners with Reading difficulties on September 17, 2026 to be held at Dasmarinas II Central School – Library, Brgy. Burol II, Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
2. This activity aims to:
a. explain the principles and procedures of effective school assessment administration by accurately identifying key assessment policies, processes, and best practices during the upskilling session;
b. demonstrate the appropriate use of inclusive literacy intervention strategies by designing or selecting evidence-based reading interventions that address the needs of learners with reading difficulties; and
c. develop a technical assistance plan that integrates effective assessment administration and inclusive literacy interventions to improve reading outcomes for learners with reading difficulties.
3. The participants to this activity are the Public Schools District Supervisors and the School Principals of schools with Special Needs Education Program. Please see attached list of participants and matrix of activities.
